5 Weeks Pregnant

Just to update everyone who hasn't been following our development adamentlly (everyone except for my mother) Kekoa and I found out we were pregnant 7 August 2009. I had a very good idea that I was before I took the test, but we waited until after the long weekend before I took that fateful piss. At 0600 there was the faintest hint of a line. I didnt even believe it was there so I called in our resident fighter pilot, AKA my husband to confirm that there was a line.

There was.

After calling my mom whose response sounded similar to a bottle rocket, the phones continued to ring endlessly all day.

The next day I went into the clinic to get a blood test to confirm everything and get the doctors involved. It was crazy having everyone tell me I was pregnant. It hasnt set in.

As for the symptoms (guys dont read this, I am only doing this for the ladies who keep asking) the boobs killed, I am nauseous all the time, exhausted, and have the worst cramps. This is going to be a fun 9 months. At least my skin and hair look fantastic. And my nails are going to have to be cut every day at this rate.

Today (about 2.5 weeks later) I got an email from my functional saying I was going to be PCSd to join Kekoa at Sheppard AFB! So in less than 2 months, Kekoa gets to fully appreciate living with his pregnant wife.
